This is the X-Series Tactical Light Modular System! It is a specialized tactical light system developed to reduce or eliminate barrel shadowing with rifles for home defense, CQB, and other defensive applications. It utilizes specially designed high-power LEDs, centrally located and free floating around the barrel to provide up to a 60-degree wide light beam, effectively reducing or even eliminating shadowing completely.
While traditional lights rely on one-sided placement, providing limited peripheral view coupled with significant forward placement as an attempt to provide wide illumination for this application, we took a different approach. Our product is different because it's a specialized product, engineered to provide a different option for a specific application within the industry. Modular System
This is a modular system! The X-Seres light head module can be completely disconnected and removed to be easily replaced with a different light head module. This provides the user the option to change illumination colors or even replace with a different compatible module entirely. The module is securely connected to power through a triple insulated micro usb interface.
X- Series Light Head Module
The Light Head Modules for X-Series are single color illuminators. We provide a variety of illumination color options, Including IR. Each light head module is packed with 7 specially designed high-power LEDs to deliver the absolute brightest illumination and durability possible for this application. When paired with a Mode Integrated Battery Module, the light head can be easily controlled with brightness settings, and strobe activation.
Battery Module
The light head is paired with the battery module for power, control, and mounting. Power and control originate from its secure onboard female micro usb interface connection port. The light head is simply secured to the top of the battery modules reinforced steel bracket with the provided hardware. Our battery modules integrated with modes will have 3 brightness settings, strobe, and sos.
Compatibility & Sizing
The X Series was developed specifically on the AR-15 rifle with a 5.56 barrel where our light module fits over the barrel and pairs with a basic key-mod type handguard. Confirm your handguard diameter matches or has a similar measurement from the barrel to edge of the handguard where the accessory rail is. The light head module is meant to free float around the barrel, and it can also be adjusted up or down the barrel independent of the handguard.
