The HDX-1000 Tactical Light is a revolutionary AR-15 mounted light produced for home defense purposes. The HDX-1000 was specifically designed for structure/building clearing and provides the widest illumination for close range applications you'll find anywhere. Specific to AR-15 rifles, the aluminum light ring simply mounts to most free-floating handguards in the diameter specified. The light ring is integrated with 8 of the world's most powerful component LEDs that will provide a forward projected, 60-degree cone of intense light energy up to 24 watts! The user is able to identify objects and threats more clearly and efficiently, effectively dominating all close-range applications with overpowering illumination force. The light intensity within the 60-degree cone of light is instantly overpowering and unbearable to anyone on the receiving end of it looking in its direction.
The HDX-1000's light ring is made from aluminum and the materials integrated into it are rated for extreme temperatures with over 10 years of research, development, and technology upgrades applied along the way. The light ring also remains completely free-floating from the barrel to minimize excessive heat exposure. The power pack simply mounts to any picatinny accessory rail.
The battery pack is made from a heat-resistant polymer with an aluminum core to house the batteries. The HDX-1000 is powered with 3 AAA lithium batteries instead of the traditional 18650 or 123A. The AAA battery is readily available most anywhere and found in other devices around the home, making it possible to locate adequate power requirements in time sensitive situation, and more cost effective at the same time. The HDX-1000 is a On/Off operation system only. It provides a rear removable push button switch and an optional remote pressure switch that can be mounted in a more control convenient area.
